Request account deletion
You can delete your Kinlog account yourself in the app, or email us for a formal erasure request.
Delete in the app (fastest)
Open Kinlog → Settings → Delete account. This removes your access immediately.
What self-serve deletion does
- Removes your family memberships and push notification tokens
- Deactivates sign-in and bans the account
- Soft-deletes your profile (some fields may be retained in tombstoned form for abuse prevention)
Family care data may remain. Medications, appointments, documents, and other records you added to a shared family space can stay available to other invited members. That is by design so care continuity is not lost when one person leaves.
Formal erasure request (email)
For a full erasure under applicable law (including care data and stored files), email privacy@getkinlog.com from the address linked to your account. Use the subject line "Data erasure request". We respond within 30 days.
If you were the only caregiver for a family, we may need to confirm what should happen to shared care records before deleting them.
